The Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor Commission will meet in Charleston, SC, at the Town & Country Inn and Suites, 2008 Savannah Highway, on Friday, May 19 from 1 to 5 pm and Saturday, May 20, from 9 am to noon. Both sessions are open to the public.

Friday’s meeting will cover Commission business and committee reports.

The Saturday meeting will continue the Commission’s emphasis on interpretation and preservation of Gullah Geechee culture. The public is cordially invited to participate in the session, which the Commission hopes will be a robust and productive discussion. Public presentations to the Commission are limited to three minutes each.

Emory Campbell of Hilton Head Island, SC, chairs the Commission.
